I have a Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Delaware, with a concentration in literacy studies and bilingual education. My research interests include literacy and early reading development and second language learning. I currently work for the European Commission at the Joint Research Centre in Italy where I conduct research for evidence-based policy support in the area of education.
