Teresa Pereira was born in 1991 and brought up in Setúbal, Portugal. She completed her Licenciatura (Languages, Literatures and Cultures – English and Spanish Studies) in 2012 and a Master’s degree (Languages, Literatures and Cultures – English and North-American Studies) in 2014 at Nova University of Lisbon, where she is currently enrolled in the same field of studies (Languages, Literatures and Cultures – Cultural Studies) as a PhD student.

Teresa Pereira’s publications and research interests centre upon Anglo-Portuguese Studies, English Literature and Culture, Literary Theory and Game Studies. She’s particularly interested in the ways Literature and video games interact with one another.
