Susana Correia studied Law at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto, has a Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures (English and Spanish) from the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto and is currently doing a Master’s Degree in Anglo-American Studies at the same institution. She has previously worked in the field of publishing and is presently preparing a Master’s dissertation on Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar and Selected Poetry. Her main research areas of interest include Women’s Studies, 20 th -century North-American Literature, and Utopian Studies. She is a Junior Researcher at CETAPS (Centre for English, Translation, Portuguese Studies).
