background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; text_font_size_tablet=&#8221;15px&#8221; text_font_size_phone=&#8221;14px&#8221; text_font_size_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To promote national and international inter-university cooperation and networking to enhance institutional capacities through knowledge sharing, collaborative work and research into digital humanities in education;<\/li>\n<li>To increase educators\u2019 competence and confidence in using digital resources and knowledge to integrate and promote civic engagement, to use technology to facilitate multicultural connections and online cultural exchanges facilitating a deeper understanding of cultural diversity in education;<\/li>\n<li>To develop partnerships between schools, universities, NGOs and other institutions offering education in different contexts and geographies and engaging in a process of reciprocal and dynamic long-term exchange;<\/li>\n<li>To enhance recognition of the importance of digital humanities in contemporary society;<\/li>\n<li>To align with The National Initiative for Digital Skills e.2030, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incode2030.gov.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portugal INCoDe.2030<\/a>, the Chair will follow the three main objectives:\n<ul>\n<li>ensure digital literacy and inclusion for the exercise of citizenship;<\/li>\n<li>foster specialization in digital technologies and applications, in order to promote occupational qualification and a higher value-added economy;<\/li>\n<li>produce new knowledge in international cooperation contexts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To align with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coe.int\/en\/web\/digital-citizenship-education\/digital-citizenship-education-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Digital Citizenship Education (DCE) Project<\/a> of the Council of Europe to empower \u201cchildren through education or the acquisition of competences for learning and active participation in digital society\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Texto Destaque&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; text_font_size_tablet=&#8221;15px&#8221; text_font_size_phone=&#8221;14px&#8221; text_font_size_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a joint postgraduate studies programme in Digital Humanities;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare an application for European funding with the TED-HUM project;<\/li>\n<li>Joining The National Initiative for Digital Skills e.2030, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incode2030.gov.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portugal INCoDe.2030<\/a> and applying for this quality seal;<\/li>\n<li>Create a library of Digital Humanities in Education resources to be used in all Portuguese-speaking countries, including a Digital Humanities Dictionary in English and Portuguese.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The long term development objectives of the Chair are: To promote national and international inter-university cooperation and networking to enhance institutional capacities through knowledge sharing, collaborative work and research into digital humanities in education;
